Video Creators — News & News Magazine
Projects: the News Magazine shows and news coverage on Haitian Vibes Entertainment and Filipino Vibes Entertainment — streaming networks watched by our communities at home and across the diaspora.
The work
- Shoot and edit video packages — community stories, events, music, food, faith, and local heroes
- Film interviews and magazine segments to a brief from the desk
- Cut short, clean versions for social sharing alongside the full segment
- Deliver on an agreed schedule, in the format the desk asks for
Skills you need
- Filming with a phone or camera — steady picture, and clear sound above all
- Editing in Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or a similar tool
- A storyteller's eye: a beginning, a middle, and an ending people remember
- Reliable communication — if a deadline will slip, you say so early
The arrangement — honestly
Work is per project to start, and a good first segment can lead to regular work. Pay: to be discussed — the rate and schedule for each project are agreed in writing before filming starts. You keep the rights to your own showreel use of the work, as agreed in that writing.
What to send
A link to one video you shot or edited — YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, or TikTok are all fine. Applications without a video link cannot be reviewed.
